Roschier advised the founders on setting up The American Song Contest

The American Song Contest, an American television show based on the format of the Eurovision Song Contest, was broadcast this spring on the American network NBC. The original format is owned by the European Broadcasting Union. Swedish law firm Roschier advised the founders of American Song Contest Inc. on its creation. Hosted by artists Kelly Clarkson and Snoop Dogg, the televised singing competition is based on the Eurovision Song Contest format, where songwriters and performers represent their home state or territory in the US and compete for the title of best original song.

The law firm’s team consisted of Jens Bengtsson and Björn Johansson Heigis.
