JurisAsia’s IP professionals have been named as ‘Rising Stars’ in MIP for the year 2023

Vivian Wei Cheng and Denise Ee from the firm’s global IP team were named as “Rising Stars” in Managing Intellectual Property’s (MIP) 2023 list.

The ‘Rising Stars’ guide was introduced in 2018 with the objective of acknowledging the top emerging intellectual property professionals in 50 jurisdictions, who have demonstrated outstanding performance for their clients and firms in the preceding 12 months. The selection process involves thorough research where firms provide information, and market and client feedback is analyzed, along with publicly available resources.

JurisAsia LLC has achieved recent success, being recognized as “Notable” in the practice areas of Banking and Finance and M&A in the latest APAC rankings for IFLR1000. Additionally, the firm has been acknowledged for its expertise in Corporate M&A and Banking and Finance by asialaw. Earlier this year, JurisAsia LLC was named as a firm to watch in 2023 by the Asian Legal Business Magazine.

Dr Cheng said: “It is a huge honour to be listed in MIP’s Rising Stars again amongst such talented and respected professionals. This is a reflection of the hard work we have all put in over the past year and immensely flattering. Congratulations to everyone who has made the listing.”

Denise Ee added: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be included in MIP’s Rising Stars and for my personal contribution to have been recognised. I work in a fantastic team which continually supports me so I must thank them for that. Well done to the other professionals who have also been included in the list.”
