August Debouzy advised IMI, a CMI subsidiary, on its planned acquisition of 100% of Editis, a leading French publishing firm, from Vivendi.

The Czech Republic’s largest media company, CMI, publishes four daily, many periodicals, a major internet presence, and radio stations in the Czech Republic and Romania. France’s second-largest magazine publisher is CMI France.
The acquisition of Editis, which is subject to employee representative body engagement and regulatory clearance, will strengthen CMI’s content industry expansion strategy while complying with the cultural exception relevant to these activities.
