Bruchou & Funes de Rioja advise CGC on USD 42 million deal

On the fresh issuance by CGC for US$42,273,005, Bruchou & Funes de Rioja provided advice. Bruchou & Funes de Rioja served as counsel to the book-running managers and placement agents on the issuance of 1.00% Dollar-Linked Notes Series 29 due in January 2027 for a total amount of US$42,273,005. Bomchil provided advice to Compañía General de Combustibles S.A. and Compañía General de Combustibles S.A.

On January 19, 2023, the issuance was made in accordance with the company’s frequent issuer program. The proceeds from the placement of the Notes Series 29 will be distributed as follows: 75% will go toward investments in assets situated in Argentina, and 25% will go toward debt refinancing, working capital situated in Argentina, acquisition of goodwill situated in Argentina, capital contributions in entities controlled by or affiliated with the company, the purchase of company shares, and/or financing of its operations.

Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires S.A.U., Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Argentina) S.A.U., and Banco Santander Argentina S.A. served as book-running managers and placement agents, respectively, whereas Allaria Ledesma & C.a. S.A., Latin Securities S.A., BACS Banco de Crédito y Securitización S.A., Balanz Capital Valores S.
