Luther supports Meliva for a buy-and-build strategy

Outpatient healthcare

The Health Care Team of Luther Rechtsanwalts-gesellschaft advised Meliva GmbH again. This time, it was on a transaction in the outpatient care market. Meliva GmbH acquired Gelenkzentrum Rhein-Main GmbH. As a result, Meliva gained three new practice locations. It also acquired a private clinic in the Rhine-Main area.

Background

Since 1 October 2024, Gelenkzentrum Rhein-Main GmbH has been part of Meliva GmbH. It is a healthcare provider in extremity surgery and orthopaedics, with 150 employees across Hochheim, Wiesbaden, and Mainz. The team includes 16 doctors, 10 of whom are specialized surgeons. They offer a full range of orthopaedic and trauma surgery services.

Meliva’s acquisition ensures stable healthcare in the region. It also acquired the joint clinic in Hochheim, adding an independently operated private clinic. This expands Meliva’s presence and strengthens its health network.
