Seacon Shipping Group Acquires Seven Mini Bulkers

Ehlermann Rindfleisch Gadow advised Seacon Shipping Group on acquiring seven 3,850 DWT mini bulkers.

The firm provided legal support for corporate structuring, delivery, and registration. Upon delivery, each vessel entered a long-term charter with Baltic Shipping Company.

The ships, built from 2022 to 2023 by Damen Yichang Shipbuilding, follow the Combifreighter design. They are 89.75m long, 12.5m wide, and powered by an ABC 6DZC engine with SCR (Tier III). Their flexible cargo hold allows bulk and breakbulk transport.

Seacon Shipping Group secured financing through CIMC Xinde Leasing Shenzhen LTD. Since the takeover, Seacon Shipping Germany GmbH & Co. KG manages the fleet.
