Hausfeld’s Competition Bulletin New Editors

Hausfeld’s Competition Bulletin announced the appointment of Sarah R. LaFreniere as its newest Managing Editor. Luke Grimes will also be joining the team as the Assistant Managing Editor.

Hausfeld is pleased to announce the appointments of Sarah R. LaFreniere and Luke Grimes as the Managing Editor and Assistant Managing Editor, respectively, for its publication, Competition Bulletin. They are taking over the editorial responsibilities that were previously held by Irving Scher, who retired from the position in June.

The Competition Bulletin is a plaintiff-oriented publication that provides valuable information on notable antitrust investigations, court decisions, regulatory actions, competition law, and developments in digital markets in the United States, the UK, and Europe. The publication is highly regarded by industry peers, clients, and the judiciary and is renowned for its market-leading status. The articles published in this bulletin have been nominated for and won several prestigious awards in the field of antitrust and competition writing, including being recognized as the top Private Enforcement Antitrust Newsletter in 2017 by Concurrences, surpassing submissions from thirty other prominent antitrust firms.

Hausfeld expresses its gratitude to Irving Scher for his significant contribution in enhancing the reputation of the Competition Bulletin and expanding its scope and influence. Under his leadership, the publication firmly established its position in the field by incorporating cutting-edge insights on digital markets.

In addition to the new editors, Hausfeld has established a diverse Competition Bulletin Editorial Board consisting of esteemed individuals from different jurisdictions. The Editorial Board includes Michael Hausfeld, Chair Emeritus located in Washington, D.C.; Scott Martin, Co-Chair of the U.S. Antitrust Practice Group situated in New York; Nicola Boyle, a Competition Partner based in London; Scott Campbell, who leads the UK Competition Disputes Team in London; Thomas Höppner, a Competition Lawyer and Partner stationed in Berlin; and Sander Timmerman, a Competition Partner located in Amsterdam.
