Swiss Life acquires “Behringold” in Dresden with Heuking

A team led by Dr. Peter Zimmermann, Partner at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, advised Swiss Life Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH on the purchase of “Behringold” in Dresden for the “Swiss Life REF (DE) European Living” fund. The purchase was carried out as an asset deal. The seller of the existing property is a subsidiary of the investment manager Heitman.

The ensemble called “Behringold” around Behringstrasse 53-57, Löbtauer Strasse 58-62 and Altonaer Strasse 10, comprises around 10,800 m² of rental space. The property, also known as Carré Löbtau, includes 148 residential units on five full floors and two staggered floors, 116 parking spaces and two smaller commercial units. The property is almost fully let. The building was developed by the then CG Group, which sold it to Heitman after completion in 2019. CG had stated the investment volume for the development in 2015 at around 34 million euros.
