Latham & Watkins has advised Triton Partners (Triton) on the sale of the Trench Group, a global technology provider of high-voltage components and systems for power grids, to the energy company GE Vernova, the firm announced on 28 October 2026. According to the firm, the purchase price amounts to the equivalent of USD 9 billion.
Completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected at the end of 2027, according to the firm. Latham & Watkins had already advised Triton on its acquisition of Trench.
