Natasha Ahmed, Partner, has joined Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld’s London office as co-head of the Technology & Intellectual Property practice, effective March 2026. Ahmed brings specialist experience in complex IP and strategic commercial contracts, with particular focus on artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.

Ahmed previously practiced at Orrick, where she developed her technical IP expertise and worked on high-stakes technology-driven transactions across multiple sectors. At Akin Gump, she will advise clients on technology transactions, IP licensing arrangements, cloud infrastructure agreements, and other technology-driven commercial contracts that balance innovation with regulatory compliance requirements.

The London office encompasses corporate transactions, M&A, technology matters, and regulatory advisory work across the firm’s diverse multinational client base.
