Thompson Hine announced on October 27, 2026 that Christopher K. Larus has been named to Intellectual Asset Management’s (IAM) Global Leaders list for 2027. He is one of only 10 honorees in Minnesota, and this is his seventh consecutive year on the list. Larus chairs the firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology Litigation practice and is partner in charge of its Minneapolis office.
To be considered for IAM Global Leaders, individuals must be ranked in the gold tier of the IAM Patent 1000. IAM then selects candidates from that group who merit special attention.

Larus has more than 25 years of experience. He litigates complex cases involving patents, trade secrets, copyrights, trademarks and licensing in state and federal courts and in arbitration. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and is certified as a Civil Trial Law Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association.
