SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz is further expanding its artificial intelligence capabilities with the “SZA AI Days”, held on 23 and 24 October 2026 in Deidesheim, the firm announced on 23 October 2026. The firm’s AI task force is led by partners Dr. Philipp Rüppell, Dr. Jonas Fischbach and Dr. Simon Apel.
During the two-day training event, the firm’s lawyers addressed concrete applications of AI in legal practice, changes in the legal market and the effects on the business models of commercial law firms, together with external experts from Germany and the US, including Tom Brägelmann, Zack Shapiro of Rains LLP and Dr. Florian Skupin of Bucerius Law School.

The AI task force founded in 2023 now comprises almost 20 lawyers from different practice groups. In addition, the SZA AI Lab, led by partners Dr. Jonas Fischbach and Dr. Simon Apel, combines legal and technical expertise.
