Stewart McKelvey is acting as local counsel to Ithaca Energy in connection with its agreement with Suncor Energy to acquire Suncor’s offshore Canada assets, the firm announced on 5 October 2026.
According to the firm, the transaction marks Ithaca Energy’s entry into Eastern Canada and its arrival in Newfoundland and Labrador.
