Six lawyers join Lefosse’s full-service strategy as partners
On Monday (17), Lefosse announced the appointment of six experts to partners, strengthening the firm’s Energy, Real Estate, Capital Markets, Corporate and M&A, Wealth Planning, and Tax practises.
Mariana Pollini, Partner
Mariana Pollini (Capital Markets), Mariana Rodrigues (Real Estate), Bruno Crispim (Energy), Leonardo Batista (Corporate and M&A), Emmanuel Abrantes (Tax), and Ricardo Santos (Wealth Planning) became partners of the firm.
Professionals are known for their practical expertise and strong industry and business knowledge, working with clients to find the finest solutions.

Mariana Rodrigues, Partner
Energy partner Bruno Crispim. He regulates electricity sales in Free and Regulated Contracting Environments, Energy Purchase and Sale Agreements, and Structured Energy Trading Operations. Bruno specialises in renewable energy transactions, including wind, solar photovoltaic, hydropower, and biomass. His energy business regulation practise includes administrative, judicial, and arbitration litigation. Bruno spent six years as a corporate and regulatory lawyer at Câmara de Comercialização de Energia Elétrica (CCEE), specialising in electric energy regulatory law. Bruno earned a law degree from Faculdade de Direito de São Bernardo do Campo, a business law degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC-SP), and an extension Electricity Sector Regulation course from ABCE. Chambers and Partners Global and Análise Advocacia recognise his energy practise. The Legal 500 Brazil Awards 2023 named him Regulatory Energy Rising Star.
Lefosse Tax Partner Emmanuel Abrantes. He advises on tax matters for M&A projects, cross-border transactions, business structuring for foreign companies in Brazil, and capital markets. He specialises in technology and payments. Emmanuel graduated in law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (PUC-MG) and earned a master’s degree in tax law from Universidade de São Paulo (USP).
Corporate and M&A partner Leonardo Batista. He specialises in publicly-held and privately-held enterprises, private equity funds, cross-border transactions, joint ventures, corporate reorganisation, and general corporate law regulatory problems, including public companies. UFRJ awarded Leonardo a law degree.
Capital Markets partner Mariana Pollini. She has extensive experience in debt capital markets (DCM) and equity capital markets (ECM) operations in the domestic and international markets, including initial and subsequent public offerings of shares, debentures (convertible or not), commercial paper and promissory notes, bonds, real estate and agribusiness receivables certificates (CRI and CRA), and FII and FIDC quotas. Her expertise includes debt restructuring, renegotiation, and debt securities private placements. Mariana has a law degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP) and a business administration MBA from FGV.
Bruno Crispim, Partner
Real estate partner Mariana Rodrigues. She specialises in real estate law. She handled a wide range of real estate transactions, including leases, all stages of real estate incorporations and developments, structuring transactions involving real estate receivables, direct and indirect acquisition and sale of rural and urban properties (including through corporate structures and consortia) for logistical and residential real estate projects, and creation and foreclosure of real estate guarantees. She also worked on greenfield developments, built to suit, sale and lease back transactions, wealth management including real estate and rights, and direct or indirect overseas acquisitions of rural properties. Mariana has a law degree from Faculdade de Direito de Franca, a postgraduate degree in real estate law from FADISP, and a real estate business specialisation from FGV.
Wealth Planning partner Ricardo Santos. He focuses in international tax and estate planning. He specialises in wealth reorganisation, estate planning, and expatriation. He designs long-term incentive schemes and incentive payouts. Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP) awarded Ricardo a law degree in tax law.
