Pitblado Law acted as legal counsel to Concordia Wellness Projects Inc. (“Concordia Village”) on its acquisition of Bergen Gardens from Appleton Holdings Ltd., operating as Edison Properties, the firm announced on 21 October 2026. The transaction has been completed.
Bergen Gardens is an assisted living and memory care residence in northeast Winnipeg. Opened in 2023, it is home to approximately 140 residents and employs 130 staff. According to the firm, the acquisition expands Concordia Village’s seniors care operations.
