Kellerhals Carrard has advised the shareholders of Koch Kabel AG on the sale of the company to ELEKTRO-MATERIAL AG (EM), the firm announced. Koch Kabel AG is a Swiss specialist for cable and project solutions with expertise in advising on, planning and delivering cable projects.
The core team of Kellerhals Carrard consisted of Reto Schumacher (Lead, Partner, M&A / Corporate), Roman Aus der Au (Senior Associate, M&A / Corporate), Blanka Batschwaroff (Associate, M&A / Corporate), Thomas Nösberger (Konsulent, M&A), Angelica Maria Schwarz (Partner, Tax), Kerim Tbaishat (Partner, Tax) and Samuel Urwyler (Associate, Tax).

According to the announcement, the acquisition strengthens EM’s capabilities in the project and consulting business and complements its existing offering in the cable sector. The transaction forms part of EM’s Strategy 2028.
