CERHA HEMPEL & Codara Launch AI for Regulatory Monitoring

CERHA HEMPEL teamed up with Codara, a Vienna-based AI start-up. Together, they built a tool that uses AI to monitor legal sources like RIS, Findok, and EUR-Lex. It scans over 1,000 legal documents weekly. The AI is trained on legal texts to reduce errors and boost accuracy.

Core Functions: Smart Tech Meets Legal Know-How

  • Real-time alerts: The tool spots legal changes and sends tailored updates to the right teams.
  • AI-driven compliance checks: It highlights changes, offers summaries, and suggests actions.
  • Organised workflows: Dashboards sort tasks by law and department from GDPR to finance rules.
  • Audit-ready logs: Every action and decision is tracked in a built-in audit trail.

CERHA HEMPEL also offers a review service. Their legal experts check and confirm all AI suggestions.

“We’re proud to drive innovation in legal AI and improve compliance for businesses,” said Hans Kristoferitsch, partner at CERHA HEMPEL.

“Our work with CERHA HEMPEL helped us build a tool that blends legal accuracy with tech innovation,” added Bernhard Landrichter, Codara’s Managing Director.
