KWR Karasek Wietrzyk Rechtsanwälte has promoted Mag. Philipp Hecke to Counsel in its Construction & Real Estate team, the firm announced on 29 October 2026. Hecke advises national and international clients, in particular construction companies, project owners, project developers, licensed engineers and real estate companies, on all questions of construction and real estate law.
His advisory focus lies in construction contract law and in the legal support of complex construction and real estate projects. According to the firm, the promotion strengthens its position in construction and real estate law. KWR partner and firm spokesperson Clemens Berlakovits said that the promotion is a further part of the firm’s success story of more than 20 years and that it is the firm’s stated goal to give its lawyers the best opportunities to continue their careers at KWR up to partner level.

Hecke has been an attorney at KWR since 2024 and was appointed Counsel in 2026. He began his legal career in 2018 as a trainee lawyer with Georg Karasek. After passing the bar exam with distinction, he moved to the legal department of an internationally active construction group, where he also held commercial power of attorney (Prokura), and gained further experience in construction and public procurement law at another law firm before returning to KWR.
