European law firm Fieldfisher has appointed Karen O’Grady as a partner in its Corporate practice, effective 1 September 2025. Karen joins from Sheridans, bringing over 15 years of experience in M&A, venture capital, and private equity.
She is known for building lasting relationships with a broad client base, including growth-stage companies, VC and PE funds, family offices, and entrepreneurs. Her sector expertise spans technology, media, FMCG, energy, and hospitality.

Karen’s recent work includes advising on the sale of Magic Numbers to Analytic Partners, Aosphere’s acquisition by Endicott Capital, and a £10 million seed round for Webb Technology Limited, backed by Preatura VC.
Beyond transactions, Karen is dedicated to mentoring junior lawyers and advancing socio-economic diversity in M&A and VC. She is currently developing an initiative to support talent from underrepresented backgrounds.
Karen joins Fieldfisher’s leading Corporate team, which includes 26 partners across Birmingham, London, and Manchester, and over 150 lawyers globally. The team consistently ranks top among AIM advisers and has led major deals such as Trading Technologies’ acquisition of ATEO, K1’s investment in Board Intelligence, and SigmaRoc’s $1.1 billion acquisition of CRH’s lime business.
