Laura Leigh Geist of Willkie named to the Daily Journal’s Top 100 Lawyers 2026. The firm announced on 30 September 2026 that its partner and Co-Managing Partner of the San Francisco office has been included in the list of Top 100 Lawyers in California.
According to the firm, Geist was recognised as one of the most accomplished litigators and trial attorneys in California for consumer class action defence. She has significant experience in life insurance and financial services litigation and defends Fortune 500 companies as well as InsurTech and FinTech companies in unfair competition, false advertising and securities class actions, including regulatory and governmental actions in parallel with civil litigation.

“In the end, that is litigation,” Geist told the Daily Journal, describing the satisfaction of figuring out “what happened and why” and solving the problem. The profile also highlighted her leadership at Willkie and her role as a mentor; as Co-Managing Partner she has been instrumental in the office’s upcoming relocation to Spear Tower, One Market Plaza.
