Jat Bains from Macfarlanes receives Legal 500 Hall of fame

Jet Bains, head of the restructuring and insolvency group has been listed in the hall of fame for Corporate Restructuring & Insolvency in this year’s Legal 500. Mr. Bains specialises in a range of debt finance transactions, acting for credit and special situations funds, corporate clients, sponsors, bondholders and senior and mezzanine lenders in relation to, amongst other things, workouts and restructurings, and real estate finance.

The Legal 500 says about him: “Under the guidance of the ‘responsive and very innovative’ Jat Bains, Macfarlanes LLP has developed a reputation for insolvency and restructuring work, recognised for its capacity to provide ‘technically strong’ advice, including on matters with limited precedents.”
