Hospital operations continued without disruption throughout the renovation. The facility was legally separated from its previous sponsor and transferred to Deaconess House Teltow/Lehnin. This move preserves its long-standing tradition and enhances regional healthcare.

Dr. Erbe highlighted the role of intensive negotiations and interdisciplinary expertise in the successful restructuring. He expressed pride in finding a long-term solution that strengthens Guben.

Special thanks were given to the Eckert law firm, particularly lawyer Nicole Riedemann and tax consultant Dorit Aurich, for their contributions. They worked closely with the hospital’s management to drive the renovation forward.

The insolvency proceedings began in December 2024 after an application was filed in September. Despite this, hospital operations remained unaffected. The successful search for investors led to the takeover, ensuring continued high-quality healthcare and advisory services in Guben.
