Fox Williams has been ranked as a leading firm in Chambers and Partners’ 2024 legal directory. Within the UK, Global and FinTech guides, 25 of the firm’s lawyers are ranked in 15 practice areas.

During this year’s directory launch, Fox Williams was ranked higher in Fraud: Civil, and received new mentions in Private Equity: Venture Capital Investment and Group Litigation: Claimant in Potential. The firm has also been promoted to a higher band in Employment: Employer, and its Band 1 ranking in Partnership and Travel: Regulatory & Commercial has been maintained.

Fox Williams has retained its Band 1 ranking in Partnership and Travel: Regulatory & Commercial. The teams were highly appreciated for their work. They were praised for their “sound judgment, responsiveness and their willingness to express their opinions without hesitation”. The firm is recognized as a “pre-eminent firm of travel lawyers” and is known for their utmost professionalism and expertise in their field. They are considered as the best at what they do.

Gavin Foggo is in Band 1, Daniel Sutherland in Band 2, Aron Pope in Band 4, and Ed Livingstone is an Associate to Watch within Partnership.

Within Travel, Rhys Griffiths maintains a Band 1 ranking, Farina Band 2 and Phyllis Acheampong Associates to Watch.

The Fraud: Civil has been promoted to Band 5 this year with Gavin Foggo also promoted in the individual rankings. The team were described as “a really excellent team – very hands-on, very strategic and very good at working out what is the best advice to give the client, both commercially and strategically.”

Fox Williams ranked Band 3 in Financial Services, with Sona Ganatra (Band 4), Peter Wright (Band 3), Chris Finney (Band 5), James Carlton (Band 3) maintaining their rankings and Sebastian Sayer being newly recognized.

Real Estate: Band 4. Liz Ruff: Band 1. Phillip Hope: Band 3.

The company is pleased to announce that it has been named to Chambers 2024 in the new specialised area Group Litigation. Andrew Hill was placed in Band 3.

The firm is pleased to be listed in the Highly Regarded table for 2024 and to have received recognition in the field of international arbitration for a second year. Ben Giaretta and Peter Ashford continue to hold their positions in this practise area, with Peter Ashford being recognised for the first time in the International Arbitration: Arbitrators section.

In employment, the team were recognised for “always looking at the commercial requirements and explain[ing] the risk profile of a transaction well. Their attention to detail and focus on understanding the commercial outcome required is very good.” Joanna Chatterton Employment: Employer celebrates a band promotion. Six individuals were recognised across Employment: Employer and Employment: Senior Executives, each of them maintaining their rankings.

Chambers’ rankings follow a successful year of recognition in Legal 500 and The Times Best Law Firms rankings.
